Guest guest
Hi CS and . A few years ago my doctor wanted me to get my amlgams out. At the time I didn't feel strong enough to get through the procedure without crahing let alone the after effects. I had been doing whey protein but had not noticed any benefit. Then my doctor learned about IV glutathione (GSH) and I started doing 1,000mg once a week. After a couple of months I began to feel stronger and after a year or so I felt ready to get the amalgams out. I got the amalgams out with no problem and did DMPS chelation with no problem. My doctor was surprised at how low my mercury levels were after the amalgam removal and how quickly they came down with DMPS chelation. My gut feeling is that this good outcome was the result of my doing IV GSH long before, during, and after amalgam removal and DMPS chelation. I also felt that the amalgam removal and DMPS chelation improved my health but not significantly. So I agree with Rich, lots of glutathione is the way to go if you are trying to remove mercury. I had a blood test recently for heavy metals and my doctor said my levels were among the best he'd seen. I don't know if IV GSH would have the same benefit for anyone else, but it was a very good treatment for me at the time. I don't currently have access to IV GSH but I would like to be able to get it. I guess I was one of the lucky ones in Andy Cutler's view. I had heard the horror stories and warnings, but I had no problem with DMPS. It was done with all the proper precautions of course, including IV vitamin C before going to the dentist's office, rubber dam and oxygen at the dentist's office, drink lots of water all the time, and mineral IVs a couple of days after DMPS treatments.
