Wow, I just turned 55 and already broke my hip. Sounds like a great place

to start. Where do I get this? I am open to any other suggestions to

improve this situation. I also have Fibro so maybe this could also help

that.

Thanks a bunch,

Lee

-- Osteoporosis-treatment-hormones and nutrients

This is a large question and the subject of many books.

We have a 1.5-2.0% bone growth rate using bioidentical natural USP FDA

approved cream hormones which place progesterone and testosterone in female

ranges of a woman 30 years old in the 75th percentile--never over the

physiological range. Since most folks were dead early 100 years ago this is

new medicine. Though some have done it 50-70 years ago.

My father was a biochemical OB/GYN genius who was doing this with women 45

plus years ago, and when my 92 y/o 99 pound grandmother fell down a flight

of stairs and had grapefruit size head and hip swellings, she did not break

anything. She had been on this 40 years.

As many know, bone nutrients are many and I will leave that to the many very

good articles and books on the topic. I obviously support their use.

Please email me off list and I will call you over the next week and we can

chat about. My fingers are getting tired of typing :). But my big mouth is

always energetic.

Hi Dr. Schaller,

I appreciate everything you have offered this group.

I have tried natural progesterone cream 10 or 12 times over the past 12 years.

I have had problems with it each time. I have now found out that it is because

of my Cythochrome CYP45A Liver enzyme has a mutation.

Do you have any suggestions on overcoming this problem. Projesterone just

builds up in my body and I don't think my Liver can process it. I can not even

havdle the tiniest amounts.

Thank you, Sue T

Will do. And I would like to apologizes to you for the poorly thought out

comment you received earlier today while trying to help others. Your advice

to me may help save my life so please don't let one person's flippant

question sour you.

Why might this list save my life? I fractured my hip, my wrist and

shattered my calcaneous from a simple fall October of last year (age 54).

Five and a half months later I still can't walk. Another fracture of this

magnitude could kill me.

Besides the above I have Fibro, Osteoporosis and Insomnia just to name a few

of my health problems. Kaiser isn't helping so I am thankful for the people

here. It is a fantastic list especially with the docs and the patients

interacting. Thanks to all the doctors for spending their so precious

spare time with us.

I suppose this is my intro to the group as prior to this I was lurking for

awhile.

Sincerely,

Leona Gibson

Lee,

I broke my hip three and a half years ago. I am walking all right now if not

perfectly. If there's anything you think I could help with, please feel free

to contact me off-list.
