why whey? other cysteine sources??

What is it about whey that makes it so good for building glutathione? I

contacted WellWisdom for an analysis and they told me that one 5g serving of

ImmunePro provides 120 mg of cysteine. It doesn't sound like very much.

I eat a fair amount of animal protein and lots of sulfur-containing

vegetables (without problems), so why would that not provide sufficient

materials? If it's a matter of providing the most of absorbable form, why

not just take half a capsule of l-cysteine?
