Guest guest
Hi Group- Theron Randolph, the father of EI, has this nightshade family group in his book " An Alternative Approach to Allergies, The New Field of Clinical Ecology Unravels the Environemental Causes of Mental and Physical Ills " Group #74 Potato Family, Solanaceae Eggplant Ground Cherry Pepino (Meolon Pear) Pepper (Capsicum) Bell sweet, Cayenne, Chili, Paprika, Pimento Potato Tobacco Tomatillo Tomato Tree Tomato Actually, my enviro doc is so sensitive to anything for the nightshade family that she put a lot of research into this area. She had a seafood product one night that was rolled in potato flour and is almost killed her....that's how sensitive she is with nighshades. Anyway, she warns people to be really careful of ALA as many ALA's contain the potato antigen. She has found only one company who would provide her with the scientific documentation to prove that there is no potato antigen in their product and it is the only ALA that she can take and not have a reaction. People in Europe wouldn't eat tomatoes for many decades after they were brought over from the Americas, because they assumed (wrongly) that any relative of the deadly nightshade plant would also be deadly. There are indeed some people whose arthritis is bothered by anything in that family. For most people, there is no problem. And tomatoes and peppers are very nutritious. I rely on NAET to test whether I am compatible with a particular food, rather than making assumptions and ruling out whole categories of food, and chiles are no problem for me. Guest guest
Alot of vegetables have been genetically altered. I wonder if this could be the problem. I started having IBS in the early 90s when the first Monsanto foods came into the market. Re: Found the quote!
