To Much Glutathione, To Quick???

Hi Sue Janet, etc.

Thanks for the Amy Yasko's site Sue. I had only known about & been to the

Testing site to order the testing. I will check it out. When I called they said

it would take 4 months to get the test results & the analysis because they

have a long list of people's testing to go through first. She did send a book &

CD with the test kit but I am allergic to print & my DVD player does not seem

to be working. So online info is the best for me.

The only effect I have from the infrared sauna detox treatment I tried 2 or

3 yrs ago besides the extra neurological pain & other worsening symptoms I

have still not recovered from, is that I do sweat easily & profusely at the

slightest exertion or heat now. That scares me to not have recovered after over

years from the effects of the detox treatment though. I have to remain at a

certain minimal level of functioning because I am alone & have no help to

survive. Luckily, so far I have been able to figure out ways & use extreme will

power to take care of basic self care despite the extreme pain etc

I know I cannot handle detoxing & that is why I spent so much $$ on ordering

a large supply of Lipsomal Glutithione Essential GSH. So I could raise my

glutithione level where I could safely detox. But at this point I am still

trying

to recover from the die off effects of taking it. I am afraid to even take a

small amount because I cannot handle any more pain or die off effects right

now.

From someone with trouble tolerating undenatured whey, it tends to have a

cumulative effect, when building up dose might not bother you for a few days,

then feel ill. A lot of us start with 1/4 scoop or 1/4 tsp and build up, so

all together could have been too much (because of issues Rich mentions or immune

I am recently new to the group, but I have moved fast in trying to

upgrade my glutathione status. I have started taking Turmeric, Whey

Protien Isolate (one scoop a day) amd 300 mg oral glutathione. I was

not having any ill effects from that.

I found a new doctor last week and had my first push of glutathione.

1200 mg (I think.)

I crashed from my busy day I had, including the push that day but it

has taken me 3 days to get back on track. (It felt like a crash, just

longer lasting.

Could this just be die off??? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

is the GAR the analysis?

I ordered the complete test with the analysis. I think they told me the

analysis would take longer than the test results . 2 different people told me by

phone it would take 4 months. Did we order different tests?

I just ordered the test this morning. It takes 6 weeks for the genetic test to

come back and about 4 weeks for the GAR to come. I hope that helps.

That is what I did get. I will call them tomorrow & check the timing again

YOu have to order the test that includes the GAR. You can order them separately,

but it costs more in the long run. The complete test costs $1275. Call the

office again.

CS,

I am feeling probably 35% better since I started this group. I think the

reason I had a reaction the first time seeing the new doc, was I used so much

energy with him. I think it was a CFS crash!!! I have reduced my dosage just a

little and no other occurance with it.
