Guest guest
Kat, This is very interesting. I read through the patent paper. He tied in the cardiomyopathy with EVB and CMV infections in the heart. And what was interesting to me personally is that I have the inverted/flat T wave he described, in fact I had that in the early years of my CFS, when I was not yet 'fatigued,' but knew my energy was declining. But then, he says nearly all PWC have this. However, what is weird is that I do not have titers for EBV and CMV, so if I have them they are dormant. Or maybe I don't have them at all and have something else causing the T wave problem. This leads me to wonder if maybe he is making some erroneous correlations. There could be other factors behind the T wave problem, such as glutathione depletion. At least in my case. But he did say this is only an explanation for a subset of the CFS population. Thought provoking anyway. --Kurt Dr Lerner's Patent for diagnosing CFS Yes, I said Patent, not Patient: http://www.freepatentsonline.com/6894056.html?highlight=5213106 Kat.
