Guest guest
I happen to be trying both right now and so is my CFS daughter (age 22). We switch off and have been talking about which is better. Even though the ImmunoPro has more Lactoferrin and Immunoglobulins, we both seem to do better taking RenewPro. I have no idea why, maybe it assimilates better. Or maybe the better taste just makes us happier and that makes a difference :-) LOL. --Kurt Re: Bernie and Immunepro Now if you still choose Immuno pro that > is AOK with me, just clarifying. > ***Hi Ballady - To be honest, the only reason I buy ImmunoPro is that I couldn't find anywhere in Canada to purchase RenewPro. I'm going to check again with my supplier and see if they can order it in for me. I don't see why not as it comes from the same supplier as the ImmunoPro. Take care. Guest guest
Hi Ballady, Bernie and the group. Keenan, the " overseer " of WellWisdom, which produces these two products, told me when RenewPro came out that they had developed a more efficient process than their original process for making ImmunoPro Rx, so that it could be produced less expensively. When they developed ImmunoPro Rx, they were doing something new, and didn't have much experience. Later, with more experience, they were able to optimize things better and make them more efficient, even though it sacrificed a small fraction of the beneficial ingredients that were in ImmunoPro Rx. Like all engineering, it was a compromise. With their new product, RenewPro, they also decided to address two of the complaints some people had made about ImmunoPro Rx. Namely that it was hard to mix and that it tasted kind of " blah. " So they made it more mixable (I'm not sure how, but maybe with a different particle size) and they added some Chinese sweetener to try to match the level of sweetness that milk has from the lactose, which is mostly removed in these products. They decided to continue offering ImmunoPro Rx, because some people prefer it, and are willing to pay more for it. At the same time, RenewPro has a more competitive price for those who don't know the difference between whey protein concentrates and whey protein isolates, so that they would be able to capture part of that market, too. My wife just bought some more of The True Whey today. I think it is going to be a major contender in the whey protein concentrate market. They keep offering it on sale through the health food stores, I guess in order to achieve more market penetration. I expect that they will be able to do that. It comes from Source Naturals, and they may have the resources to sell it low for a while. The label reads a lot like those of ImmunoPro Rx and RenewPro, though they do add some vanilla and some stevia to it. But it is a concentrate, not an isolate. Guest guest
Thanks Rich -- I just found The True Whey on smartbomb.com for $14.28, and our local supplement store will be carrying it for about $16. d. > > > > Okay Bernie, > > > > I actually just ordered some more Renewpro and from a different > > company than Needs.
