Guest guest
Hi Lets just say that it took me around a month or two to really be able to tolerate whey protein. I dont think it was the whey that is the problem - I think it is the very low glutathione levels and toxins being stirred up when Whey is taken !! Guest guest
Dan, Was this the 1st dose of Immunopro for you? When I began Immunopro a few years ago, I definitely went down with flu-like body symptoms the next day...tho not sure about fever. I was unable or unwilling to remain in that state. I also had followed all of the 1st patients on it for a few months. (Dr. Cheney's trial and others). So I'd seen people begin or back way down to miniscule dose, and decided to do that. Someone even kindly sent me these teensy, teensy, little spoons in case I was that sensitive, as some were. I settled on 1/8th of a teaspoon daily and remained there for awhile. Over a long period of a time, I inched up slowly, in very small increments. Even so, I experienced some energy and loss of swelling in face pretty quickly. I would realize I'd been at a level for awhile, and take it up just a bit, maybe by 8ths. Intuition, I guess you'd say. Eventually, (over a year), I had arrived at 2 scoops! Yes, that was very cool. That is where I have remained. I'm not so good at all the hours of empty stomach for things I take, so I've only done it in A.M., with rare exception. I'd love to be disciplined enough to do 2x a day, but oh well... I'm very happy with how I did it. There'd been alot of discussion about dumping/moving toxins too fast (with anything), so *no way* was I going to risk that. In earlier days there were also more accounts of fasting, for instance, and people landing in hospitals and long relapses. Nope, that was not for me! I am so grateful for the patients who shared their daily progress, and the time I took to observe it, so I'd know how to decide. Everyone's different, but that's my story in case it helps. BTW, a couple of months ago, I began Essential Glutathione, taking a teaspoon 2 days in a row. I had the same symptoms and really tired, but kind of in a good way. In this case, if I'd had the luxury to sleep through it, I would have. But i do not, so I take it about twice a week, so far, and feel pretty good about it. I am " partially " basing this on economy, too, at the moment, cause of other things I'm doing/want to do. If I remember correctly?, it's more severe patients who have best improvement on Immunopro. Guest guest
That may be true. Did you stop taking it for a bit, then slowly ramp up again? Did you take anything like activated charcoal or pectin to adsorb the toxins? My fever is 102 now, so I caved and took a tylenol...just hurt all over...especially shoulders and neck. d. > > Hi > > Lets just say that it took me around a month or two to really be able to > tolerate whey protein. > I dont think it was the whey that is the problem - I think it is the very > low glutathione levels and toxins being stirred up when Whey is taken !! > > Regards > CS > > > > >

Guest guest
This isn't the first dose, but I haven't taken it for awhile, and never a " heaping " scoop -- twice yesterday. So I guess I should back down, or stop for awhile? Thanks for your reply... d. > > > > Hello all, > > > > I usually never get a cold or the flu, but after two scoops of whey protein yesterday, I woke > > up with the chills about 4am, and worsening pain of course, but also a decent temperature > > -- 100.9. Guest guest
Almost everyone I talk to starts or re-starts whey w/ a very small dose. I remember someone in our support group who is a Cheney patient who started w/ 1/2 teaspoon per day, and they worked up from there. I also recall that initially she tried the recommended dose and had some real bad reactions.
