FEAT’s “A NIGHT OF CARING”

Funds Go Directly for Children with Autism

A Night of Caring, the annual dinner dance to benefit Families for

Early Autism Treatment (FEAT) of greater Sacramento, celebrates hope for

autistic children Saturday, June 10 beginning at 5:30 p.m.. Hosted by Lynda

Clayton of 94.7 KSSJ with KCRA TV’s Brothers reprising his hilarious

turn as auctioneer, A Night of Caring, is an evening of fun with a heart.

In span of a few fun-filled hours, FEAT will raise enough money to fund a

year’s worth of services for children with autism and their families;

intensive early intervention, legal advocacy, support for parents and an

on-line news and information service that has grown from 350 subscribers to

more than 20,000 daily readers in just two years.

The most amazing fact about A Night of Caring is that one hundred

percent of the funds raised go directly for children with autism. FEAT has

no paid employees. Every service, event and resource is provided free of

charge by an all volunteer staff of parents, relatives and others dedicated

to helping children with autism.

A Night of Caring is one-stop shopping for gala goers. As irresistible

silent auction tables tempt guests with sports memorabilia, spa treatments,

jewelry, art and more, every invitee with a raffle ticket stands a chance to

win a week in paradise at the Kiahuna Plantation at Poipu Beach, Kauaii!

After a sumptuous break for dinner and the heartwarming FEAT Kids’ slide

show, the fun begins again with a star-studded auction. Paddle pushers can

bid for one-of-a-kind fantasy finds such as: dinner with Emmy Award winning

actor and director Busfield (NBC’s The West Wing, Sacramento’s B

Street Theatre), a fun-in-the-sun desert golf getaway or airfare, a limo and

a Skybox (for twelve!) to see the Sacramento Kings play in L.A.. The party

continues into the night as guests revel in the glow of the dance floor or

in the glory of auction treasures ready to take home.
