1) Where are good resources available for the sufferers of

mites. Resources such as those that describe what one feels as well

as what one experiences during the different phases of these

things. I have continually struggled to make sense of what is

happening. Am I being reinfested, attacked, are they dying, what my

skin should be doing, what sensations should I expect, what do

differing sensations mean, etc.?

2) There are many Ivermectin failures on this forum and the

scabies forum. Why? Would this indicate an environmental problem

there for excluding classic scabies and entertaining animal mites?

How does one determine animal mites from human mites?

3) From what I know of Ivermectin, it is mostly effective only

on adult mites, those actively feeding and breeding. The youth are

not developed enough for Iver to interfere with the GABA channels.

What is an effective as well as cost effective method to use for

the youth and eggs? If one has been suffering for any amount of time,

generational overlap becomes very important.

4) How do you effectively kill environmental mites? Heat, cold,

freezing, dessication? How would you suggest in accomplishing what

you recommend?

5) Pheromones. Do personal care products available to consumers

today contain pheromones or pheromone like substances in which may

inadvertently attract parasitic mites? If so, which brands do we

stay away from?

6) Why do certain fabrics seem to attract as well as support the

life cycles of these mites?

7) Do you think a sulfur deficiency exists in the public today?

Might this have anything to do with whom these mites seem to attack

and proliferate?

8) Once infested with parasitic mites, how might this affect the

body? What processes take place in reaction to said infestation?

9) Are there specific or general blood tests that can help

pinpoint the identity of said infestations? Which do you recommend?

10) Are we contagious? Some of us have been suffering for many

months and years. Are we responsible for spreading this around?

Are there certain ones more contagious than others?

11) Does the use of antibiotics or allergy medicines change the

morphology of the mite infestation?

If so, how and how does one identify it when on these meds?

What meds are capable of masking an infestation?

12) I think identifying the type of mite one is infested with is

important for treatment options. Different methods for different

types. When physicians, universities and state colleges fail in

identification, where do we go? In my particular case, I couldn't

get a physician to look under a microscope much less identify it. I

was offered antidepressants by them though. The state university

couldn't identify them either, they said there was no evidence of

parasites. The samples I sent I microscoped myself and could

identify that it was atleast a bug. And with legs. Seen a few claws

too. Some odd things as well in addition….

13) My infestation is marked by hyperkeratosis and encapsulation

of the said mite. Essentially, they look like tiny white pearls

nested deeply in the hair follicle. When tweezered out, they are

cemented in there and bleeding will occur upon extraction as well

as a good sized hole. There are thousands. How does one effectively

treat hyperkeratosis without using straight acid on your skin. This

marked thickening seem protective in a way. Removal, painful

removal of this thick skin will expose a crater in which many burrows

are built on top of each other. I have had craters as thick as 5mm.

As large as 7 CM by 5CM. Nothing is small about the effects of these

things on my skin. One day there is nothing and the next I have a

burning crater from hell. Or I have had in a 24 hour time span a

burrow almost 12 cm long, extending from my elbow to my wrist. I

can't feel them when they do this. I only feel occasional bites and

sometimes not in the place in which I develop these craters. Why?

I feel them dying, they pop out of the skin

quite painfully. I have watched a few penetrate my skin. I felt

nothing. They just seem to melt right in effortlessly.

14) How do you effectively remove them from your scalp, hair,

eyes, nose, lips, ears, etc. Without smelling so bad that your co-

workers complain and your friends don't want to be around you

because you smell so dang bad. What about the privates for those

suffering with those?

15) How do you treat your hands and feet effectively?

These are also areas of thickened skin.

What are your recommendations for the nails and cuticles?

16) Why do these mites go for the face and scalp consistently?

17) Is there such a thing a moulting patches? If this is true,

do pheromones play a part in this?

18) My mites are white on a dark background and dark and on

white backgrround. In neutral backgrounds, they blend in and become

invisible. How do you fight that which you cannot see very well?

19) I commonly encounter sand like particles.

Some of these bite and they really BITE.

The sizes vary so widely with my mites.

Some are quite large while others seem to be miniscule.

Is there more than one type or just differing life cycle ages?

Is such a wide variation normal or what might this indicate?

20) I can be slathered in sulfur and still get biting. Is this

due to the erratic behavior they display before dying or is it

just not working?

21) Why has they CDC and other governmental agencies not

acknowledged this yet. I do believe we might have an epidemic

here. If scabies is a non reportable event to the CDC, why don't

they put perm. OTC? According to many governmental agencies, perm

is " one of the safest " anti-parasitic topicals on the market.

Why must the general public still go to physicians incapable of

identifying it in the first place and then get a prescription for a

safe product to use in the condition.

22) What is the criteria for determining reinfestation vs. resistance?

23) What methods could be used to get rid of other parasites from

the body like jumping collembola or demodex mites?

24) What is the most effective way of disinfecting clothes from

parasites?

25) What is the most effective way for disinfecting documents and

non-porous belongings?

26) What is the most effective way of cleaning the car?

How can you effectively clean the inside of TV, refrigerators,

stereos?

27) How can you clean the HVAC ducts?

28) How can you treat the crawl space and attic for parasites?

29) I want to know is it really true that the mites are not

attracted to you if you don't eat sugar? Or does it really matter,

because they need a blood meal to reproduce?

30) I am using dawn dishwashing liquid 1/5 with 4/5 water in a

spray, and it produces a stuck in gluck effect on these mites.

Does the soap kill them, too? Or has she ever heard of this? I just

started spraying it in my " ghetto " car now, because nothing else is

working in there.

31) What is the best thing she recommends as an environmental spray?

32) Is there anything she recommends to use inside the car?

33) What does she think about bleaching and boraxing the floors?

And how often?

34) Is it true that people who are suffering from this lose

30% of their blood volume?

35) If so, is there anything that can be done to correct this

through diet or other means?

36) Pheromones- Please explain the mechanism by which insect

pheromones attach and stay on our skin?

37) Do they attach on the exterior surface of the skin or inside the

skin?

38) Do they affect the skin chemistry?

39) What methods could be used to get the insect pheromones off from

our skin?

40) Skin- how safe is it to scrub rubbing alcohol or diluted

ammonia on the skin everyday for long periods of time, say months?

41) How do we break the cycle and get them off of

our bodies and our environment without reinfecting?

42) Can pets be in the environment if they are also hosts?

43) Do others living in the same environment but not affected cause

re-infestation if they do not follow the protocol?

44) Are others at risk of catching from my body?

45) How long and how often is it safe to take ivermectin?.

46) Would it be helpful to get a dehumidifier for the

bedroom? I read somewhere the drier you keep the humidity the better

as mites can't live long in dry areas. Is that true?

47) Why can't I see my mites, even though I have scoped with 60x

pocket scope and a microscope? So, by me not being able to see these

things, my doctor thinks I'm nuts, and others, too. "

48) Could a bacterial or fungal infection be the root cause for

continuing infestation?

49) Do you have any recommendations for storage of household items?

Just received confirmation from Dr Staninger that she rec'd the
