thanks many mites. I never even knew about that a/c filter. I was thinking of buying a dehumidifier and using it inside the car.manymites <manymts@...> wrote: Hi Melinda- I was thinking about your car. I think you mentioned a long time ago that you use a variety of products including windex, alcohol and borax for the car. I don't know if you run your car AC while you apply the windex. One possibility is that they are hiding inside the AC ducts. Changing the cabin air intake filter may help. Most newer cars have an AC air

intake filter that you change about every 30,000 miles or so. I learned this because when I bought my used car, it had a terrible smoke scent that took months to get rid off. I finally learned about this filter located near the windshield wiper on the passenger side. I replaced it and soaked the new one in febreeze. That seemed to help although it took about a month after that to get rid of all the smell. The car being such a small area is so difficult to treat because it has so much fabric everywhere. Another thing to consider is steam cleaning the seats, floor and ceiling. If it is heavily infested they could be underneath the seat fabrics. Those are just thoughts that come to mind. I hope it helps. God bless you- MM

Mel- I'm glad to hear you got some decent results from what you did

to your car. This is a very tough road we have to travel Mel and it's

impossible to constantly to keep your composure in the face of

something this hard that no one else understands or even believes is

happening. I think this has been a very tough week for everyone Mel

and you shouldn't feel bad about anything. Fritolay is (was?) going

through a hard time, I've had a 102 degree temp., horrible coughing

fits and some crud in my lungs all week on top of this and it seems

that everyone else is laying low too for some reason.

I'm starting to wonder if the activity of these things isn't directly

affected by the cycles of the moon and or weather as it seems like

they really go nuts around the full moon as Lucylu pointed out awhile

back. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

As everyone told me after my little holiday episode- it's not a big

deal, just forget about it, move on and DO NOT be too hard on

yourself, this is difficult enough as it is without us beating

ourselves up over nothing, OK?

Awesome!

Now, cheer yourself up and do something fun for yourself this weekend

that doesn't involve these demons like go to the movies or a museum

or something... I have found that it's VERY important to have a life

outside of these things.

I look forward to hearing about how well you're doing. ;)

God bless you my friend!

PS- you're NOT a crybaby, I think you're a brave and wonderful person

who had a bad day..............

Good morning Mel.

You have any coffee on? I'm getting a headache and need a fix.

I'm kidding about the coffee.

Have a good day.
