Hi Ladydee: Well, at first, I would just pur it straight from the bottle and wipe it all over my hands and arms, making sure that I am wearing white, because if it drips, it will bleach dark clothing. I would wait a few minutes and apply it again. Since hydrogen peroxide is a penetrant, which I learned from earthclinic website, it will get into any very tiny crack and crevice; therefore, going straight into a bite area where mites are. It burned and hurt so badly. But, I can feel it working on the mites. The thing, is that they will travel to under my fingernails, if I do this. Then I started taking clean white kleenexes and spraying them with the HP, and then swipe any area I feel activity. Then I take my 60x pocketscope and scope the kleenex. Lots of things on that kleenex, dark specs, long dark specs (could be demodex mites), and black fibers. This is happening to my face area; I get alot of activity

there. I put the HP on any place I feel activity. My eyebrows have bleached out now. My hair, along the hairline is now bleached, too. I don't care about that, though, as it has a sexy look to it. I do this activity alot now when I lay down at night. It gets ALOT of the surface crawlers off of me and has definitely kept the numbers down. And, as Martha would say, IT'S A GOOD THING!! Also, I don't know if you guys know about benzyl benzoate. This is a chemical which will kill mites. I found a website that sells pure benzyl benzoate (this was back in 2006, when this first started). I will post the website. There are cleaning products which contain benzyl benzoate in them to kill dust mites, etc. But these products are EXPENSIVE. Anyway, you can mix about 20-25% BB with alcohol, and use that on your scalp as a direct kill. You have to be careful with BB

because it is a solvent and will melt the plastic on remote controls, keyboards, computer mouse, house phones, etc. They sell a lotion that has 25% BB in it, and this lotion can be ordered from another country. Here is the link for the 100% pure BB. I was the one who found this place, and since then, they have updated their website and have doubled the price on this chemical. http://www.researchsupply.net/solvents_etc.html I have been adding about a half ounce of ammonia to my windex spray, too. I figure the ammonia will give the Windex an extra kick. A turning point for me was boiling any item I feel is infested and will not come out of the laundry mite free. This is a true help here. Hi Mel,

Thanks so much for your tips here. The hyrdrogen peroxide is healing

some of the smaller lesions I have on my face. I used it with some

borax for my eyebrows. It does bleach them lighter for sure!

Thanks for the tip on Benzyl Benzoate. I found that product in the

anti-dust mite formula and sprinkled that on my carpet as well. I

bought the bottle at Bed, Bath & Beyond. As we all know, the carpet

is a tough battle to keep mite free.

I have also stopped using towels after showering (Rita's suggestion)

and that has helped from being reinfected however I sure miss the

towels after a hot shower. Instead I have been using the hair dryer

or paper towels.

Have you tried the Epsom Salts-concentrated solution? That helps dry

up those demons on the skin as well. Thanks again Mel!

Hi ladydee: I am doing Rita's epsom salt rinses. It is very odd, to get out of the shower and not use a towel. I finally put some epsom salt and hot water in a spray bottle, and am using that as an environmental spray, as Bill does this. Also, when I wash my hands and feet, I reapply the salt spray on my hands and feet. On the topix scabies forum, one lady mentioned her derm told her that you have to wash your feet and hands alot. He said that the mites and debris drop to the ground alot, and land on your feet. That you have to wash your feet, as often as you wash your hands, and to do it often, as your feet and hands are the body parts that are most infested. My hands have been a problem for me, so Bill told me to soak in borax. I added some epsom salts and hydrogen peroxide to that soak last night (plus really hot water to dissolve all this stuff), and I soaked as well as I could, rotating between feet and hands

(bucket is small, it's not easy).... okay, well. I just thought I would add some other info., that i know of. Hi Mel,

Thanks for the information! Sorry for not answering sooner but I

don't get on this site as often as I would like. The Epsom salt

rinse is helping both on the skin and in the environment. I also

pour that combined with the MSM powder on my scalp and leave it in.

Yes, the feet and hands seem to be vulnerable to bites. I have edema

in my feet so I know they love to hide there! Take care.
