Guest guest
LucyLu, you may want to send you pics to Dr. Kaufman at Univ. Of Miami (a friend who got bitten when he visited my ex wife's home and now he and his daughter have mites) talked to him. Your photos look very much like the tropical bird mites we have here. I have seen ours under a microscope but was did not have equipment to photo them. Your photos look JUST LIKE what we have here, they have been id as tropicial bird mites by my PCO who seems very capable. As the PCO said " you are not crazy. " He may be able to help you id your mites.
Guest guest
GN do you think I could send some samples to your friend Dr. Kaufman also? I lifted a few more yesterday and scotch taped them on both sides so they won't go anywhere. If so would you give me his address. My Texas entomologist was not real interested in pics I sent him.
