VITAMIN C AS A SOLUTION? - Too much can be damaging

Taking more than 500mg of vitamin C per day can be damaging to your

cells. http://www.lymephotos.com/ suggests that you take 12,000 mg!

Here are just a few articles that suggest that high dosages vitamin C

is damaging:

- This article suggests that " ... more than about 1000 mg per day may

cause nausea, stomach cramps, diarrhea, and possibly kidney stones. "

- This article suggests that high doses of vitamin C may

cause: " Diarrhea, abdominal cramps, high stomach acid, increased

urination, insomnia, irritability, joint pains,

osteoporosis, headaches, hypoglycemia, weakness, anemia, PMS, may

increase infections by causing copper deficiency, reduced estrogen,

reduced progesterone, reduced prolactin. "

- This article states: " Overdose of the vitamin can destroy B12,

reduce the effectiveness of blood-thinners, lead to the loss of

calcium, and cause diarrhea and nosebleed. "

- This article talks about some of the studies done on vitamin C

overdose.
