Guest guest
Hi everyone. Hoping that since the list has been so quiet that everyone is busy " battling the bugs " and winning the fight! ??? I think of each and everyone daily and keep you all in my prayers. We are losing our battle here. The ONLY thing that seems to work is the Epsom salts. I have scrubbed... bleached...washed... windexed...boraxed and used everything you can think of including bombing the house twice, and NOTHING is working. These mites keep coming back!!! Short of setting the house on fire... The last time we bombed/fogged a couple of days ago, it seemed like it made it worse. It " aggitated " the mites or something because they came back with a vengance. The last couple of days has just been awful!!! What I can't figure out is, is that the mites don't bother my grandmother (Whom lives with me and I care for), but they are eating me and my husband alive! She has nary a bite on her ANYWHERE. She never itches, doesn't feel anything " crawling " on her... Nothing! (Now that I think about it... she keeps herself greased up with Gold Bond Medicated/Menthol Lotion) Has anyone else ever experienced anything similar to this? We are headed to a dermatologist next week and " hopefully " an entomologist soon thereafter. I am praying that they can identify these things. Because I don't have a clue as to what they are and how to kill them. I truly doubt that even " if " they figure out what it is that we have... they won't even be able to tell us what to do. How could they? We've already tried everything under the sun almost... It's like the " bugs " have a special type of body armour or something that makes them impervious to any type of " chemical " attacks. Sometimes I wish I could walk right out of this house with only a towel wrapped around me (which had been soaked in epsom salts), go straight to the dealership, buy ANOTHER car, go for a quick shopping trip for clothes and never look back.... Just let it ALL set here to rot... But I'll just keep on dreaming/fantasizing of winning the battle... Good luck to all...
