Guest guest
Hi Melinda- I was thinking about your car. I think you mentioned a long time ago that you use a variety of products including windex, alcohol and borax for the car. I don't know if you run your car AC while you apply the windex. One possibility is that they are hiding inside the AC ducts. Changing the cabin air intake filter may help. Most newer cars have an AC air intake filter that you change about every 30,000 miles or so. I learned this because when I bought my used car, it had a terrible smoke scent that took months to get rid off. I finally learned about this filter located near the windshield wiper on the passenger side. I replaced it and soaked the new one in febreeze. That seemed to help although it took about a month after that to get rid of all the smell. The car being such a small area is so difficult to treat because it has so much fabric everywhere. Another thing to consider is steam cleaning the seats, floor and ceiling. If it is heavily infested they could be underneath the seat fabrics. Those are just thoughts that come to mind. I hope it helps. God bless you- MM
