Guest guest
Tnxjob- these things are tough... I would like to suggest " Fleabusters " (fleabusters.com) to you if you didn't happen to read my post before about their co. It's some sort of salt that stays in the environment for several years and dries up ANY living thing that comes in contact with it. We used it for a major flea infestation and didn't see another flea for well over 2 years until we moved out of the place. It is non-toxic too. I guess what they do is steam EVERYTHING at 240-260 degrees and then they immediately follow up with the salts. The reason I think it may work is because each generation that hatches after the initial application simply gets dried up by the stuff. Just a thought... som > > > > > > Hello All, > > > I was just checking out Cedarcide.com, and was impressed when I > > > called. Are you through with bird mites???? Because of Fleabusters? As a direct result of a Fleabuster application? That would be a miracle, silver bullet. Even tenting sounds like it has failed some people, and my Mom used Fleabusters (coincidentally for fleas, about two years ago), and it seemed reasonable, no smell, and yes, very effective, for fleas, but don't know about birdmites. Guest guest
Katzfurz- I noticed that you've reposted this Fleabusters post I've made a couple of times- I haven't tried it myself on these things but as I stated, it worked wonders on the huge flea infestation I had many years ago. It just makes sense to me that these salts would dry them up every time a new generation hatches and comes in to contact with it. If I could afford it I would do it myself but I have had to go the low budget route due to exhausted finances. You can order the stuff and apply it yourself. And, from what the lady I spoke to there told me, steaming first at 240-260 degrees to kill the existing, adult one's is probably the best way to get immediate results. I realize this probably seems like a lot of work but no matter how you go about it, there is going to be alot of work involved in my opinion. They have offices all over the US so if anyone wants to give them a try, there's probably a Fleabusters in your area. I wish someone would give it a try- I have a really good feeling about this method........ Have a great weekend- som > > > > > > > > > > > > Hello All, > > > > > > I was just checking out Cedarcide.com, and was impressed > when I > > > > > > called.
