I wish this would just take me out once and for all so I don't have to live like this anymore. I hope you got something out of the call although it doesn't sound like you really did- sorry bout that, I tried... I feel like reposting one of your own inspirational posts to bring you up since I wouldn't be able to do such a good job in inspiring people as you do. I can't believe these little bastards conspired to prevent you from attending the conference call. You can tell that the call got sort of out of hand probably because a vital coordinating member wasn't present. Eventhough it could have been better, I think it was a good start and I look forward to another conf. call with Dr. S where you serve as the coordinator. Please get well soon and command these whatever things affecting you to leave you alone. The group needs you, I'll pray tonight for your prompt healing! Guest guest Posted January 14, 2008 Report Share Posted January 14, 2008 I want to apologize to you guys for being so pathetic w/ my last post- while I did feel that way, my comment about this " taking me out " was inappropriate, did no one any good and would have been better kept to myself so, I am sorry. Talk about being a big baby... I also feel bad for missing the call and if I were at all able to function, I certainly would have been involved as I was as excited as you guys were about it. I can get around now and just had my first solid meal in days but I still have a thundering headache and won't be doing much for atleast another couple of days for sure. I don't know what the heck it is FL- I found your question about whether I have " mite fever " interesting- is there such a thing? If so, how do you know when you have it? I did have a VERY high fever and my whole body was in so much pain that all I could do was lay there shivering and moaning for hours on end. I was quite pathetic. If these are signs of " mite fever " , then I probably did have it- and how. I wanted to go to the hospital ER but as we all know, that would have cost a mint and done no good... You guys are SO wonderful for caring about me, I read all your posts and I couldn't wait to feel better so I could tell you how much I appreciate your concern. I spoke to Dr. Hildy a few minutes ago (she was super worried too) and she said 24 callers participated in the call! Wow! I didn't think there were 24 of us on the whole planet! (joking) That is alot though... She also said that her and " " (the other doctor who participated?) were very pleased at the turnout and results overall. I didn't mention anything to her about what I read about all the questions not getting covered, etc. because I think she was very sweet to do that for us and I didn't want to make it seem as though we were unappreciative. Damn! I wish I could have been there! After all the legwork Ray and I did putting those questions together, I definitely would have made sure we stayed on the right track and gotten most of them addressed atleast... Did you guys ask about the 30% loss of blood question? Probably not as I put it in as one of the last questions- I'll just ask her myself and then post her answer if you didn't cover it. Even though it seems that this conference call was a bit rocky, I think it was a very good thing and hopefully we (you) learned alot so that the next one is more productive and helpful to us all. Thank you again for your concern you guys- you have no idea how much that means to me...
