Hi....gee I hope things get better for you. You ask how I did things so here's what and how my days went. During the day, wash all bedding and cloths that has been soaked over night. Put the next pair of shoes in to be soaked while the wet ones dry for the next day. Vacuum all floors, walls and beds. Wash down bed with 1 cup Clorox, 1 cup Epsom salt and 1/4 dawn soap in a quart of water. Put clean trash bag on pillow. Mop floors with Clorox water or Windex. Evening, spray all surfaces with a 32 oz spray bottle filled with water and 1 cup of Clorox. Shower in the morning and at night. I washed with dawn dish soap, then put straight Clorox on me poured form head to toe, wash off immediately, then slowly pour the Epsom salt water over me working it in well. jump out of the shower and blow dry the salt on. Put betadine solution in each ear. Touch each bump or lesion with the Clearasil "tinted" acne treatment. Coat each eye and lips with Vaseline being careful not to rub dried salt off. During the day if I felt them I would touch that spot with a qtip dipped into straight Clorox. Kept eyes lightly coated with Vaseline during the day. As the salt made the damaged skin flake off I would go over that area with Vaseline. Cleaning of the environment and soaking of the bedding and cloths is half the battle. Co2 the car at least twice a week. Makeup and purses can't me use more that once. Use qtips and not your fingers with makeup. Soak all hair brushes and combs in Clorox water over night. Spray everything you sit on with Clorox water. This mess is devastating and a nightmare to live with. Once you get the things on the run life will get better each day. It takes time and a lot of work. We threw out everything we could live without. Keep a glass of Clorox and salt water in the bathroom to use quickly when you feel them on the skin. Each month you will get better depending on the infestation on the environment. Good luck and don't stop fighting them......remember, we may not all have the same thing on our skin but with persistence things do get better. Keep trying. Rita

Re: Mycodex / Uncomfortable Salt Treatment

I tired that last night. It didn't kill them all. My my coat ofepsom salt wasn't thick enough. I think it discouraged them fromcertain spots but not kill them. Plus I knocked the power out twicefrom my blow dryer. I had to go ask my neighbor to restart it. Ifelt one crawl from my cheek and into my ear. I was too tired fromcleaning to do anything. Can anyone give me their EXACT bathingroutinue along with how long it takes? I've taken two showers thismorning and it didn't really do anything. Rita? How many showers aday? I also take 1 tablespoon of Plain table salt each day. I take 1 teas. in the morning and 1 teaspoon in the afternoon. Don't give up, I know how hard this gets but the hard work pays off. Please, hang on and don't give up. Take each day at a time. Get through each day, that leads to getting through each week and then before you know it a month has gone by. With each month the damn things get fewer in numbers and your sweet wonderful life is waiting just around the bend. Hang on.......Rita
