Those of you from San Diego

For those of you from San Diego, if you read my other post, my neighbor just

got invaded

by a bird's nest and the mites came into her home as well. I never would have

believed it,

but it did.

We were talking as many have said before....wondering if this is a type of

empidemic, or

something that needs definite attention.

My family owns a hydroseeding company in Escondido, and another side of my

family own

a nursery (of plants, etc). They know a man named Atkins that is the Pest

Control

Advisor for San Deigo. He basically distributes the pesticides to the PCO's in

the city. I

have talked to him and told him my situation and of course they are all about

finding a

" bug " , which gets so frustrating, but he also told me that there is an

environmentally safe

pesticide for these things out called Eco-Pro WPX which is a mint oil base, and

I believe it

is a powder. I haven't tried it, but I will be in contact with him and want to

tell him about

each of you, where you live and what you have tried and your situation, so can

you get

that to me?

I would like all the information also, because at our church, Skyline Wesleyan,

we have 3

newscasters that attend there. I'm not sure what I can do, or if we can get a

story out,

but, I would possibly like to go down that route and try. I know that I had

seen a news

story on one of the links on birdmites.org, but I can't remember if they got rid

of them.

There was the story of " the mysterious biting mite " or something, and then a

follow-up of

it. does anyone remember about this? But anyways, maybe if we can go local, we

will get

more people coming out of the woodworks that has this. Maybe there are tons!

And if so,

THEN, maybe someone will listen and do something to help. What do you think?

(how is her named spelled anyways?) and Dr Phil are too big to contact just yet.

Maybe

starting small and working our way up will finally be a way to get the help we

need.

doesn't desire for

us to live this way. Don't give up the fight.
