What should I ask pest company???

So ,tomorow I'm calling the pest company. They allready determined we

have birdmites! But the product they said they would use (pyrethin)is

said on birdmites.org that it would not work. What should I ask for?

Also we now see them only upstairs in three bedrooms,if they spray

around doors and windows only( as we were told) would that make them

run downstairs?? Does the poison go into the air?

Also we have sofa, rug and chair pilows on 1st floor. Should we throw

away these as well?? We just bought them. Would cedarcide go into the

fabric???? We plan on using cedarcide after the pest company..

One more thing, should we worry about internal infestation or this

only happens after a long period???
