Guest guest
Rita, That was another point that I wanted to bring up. Thank you for doing so! I have noticed that the people who have beat this " thing " all have one thing in common. They included their walls and ceilings in their treatment protocol. For example: Rita - Painted the entire inside of her house Ray - Sprayed Windex on ceilings, walls, floors & all other surfaces repeatedly. Zmooks - Heat treated 5 weekends in a row. Joan - Fogged with Cedarcide. Im sure that there are a few more, but the point I want to make is for folks NOT to forget to treat their ceilings and walls too, no matter what method you are using. In the beginning, there were many many times when I just knew that these critters were perched on my ceiling waiting for us to go to sleep so that they could dive bomb us. And of course they did... every single time. Rita, I think you and I have even talked about this a time or two!. After our PCO fogged several times, and when I noticed the mites might be making a come back, I then started to spray the ceiling & walls again using salts. So far it's worked. So no matter what anyone here on the list is using to try and rid their environment of this mite... PLEASE don't forget to include the walls and ceilings. Do it repeatedly! It may make all the difference in the world. Just please don't forget to use a respirator when spraying. Be safe. Just a suggestion... > > I wanted to let you know about one other thing that I along with Golfingnut did. We painted our homes. We painted every surface we could paint. Trying to seal all cracks and cover with paint anything too tiny to see. I don't know how much it helped but it was one thing that we both have done. I too still use salt and will use it for a long, long time. I still submerge and soak everything that touches us and I just hope that I don't run in to these things again. Not feeling the pain on your skin is wonderful isn't it???? Rita > > > Re: trylyblest- still doing well? > > > Thanks Rita. I hope and pray that we are nearing the end of all of > this.
