Lucy,

Did you spray/fog anything inside your apt. within a couple of days

after you tried to heat treat it? Such as Windex or Cedarcide?

Hi--

I fogged for 3rd time w/cedarcide on Wed nite--slept elsewhere

Thursday-stayed out of house til bedtime--ok nite

Friday--bad in house during the day--ok nite

I tried to heat treat on Saturday day

Saturday nite spent the nite elsewhere--good nite

Sunday day was buggy

Sunday night was horrible in my place

Monday night -saturated mattress and sprayed bedroom with Windex and had a very

good night-slept in my place

Tuesday -spent some time in my house during the day--felt a little

buggy--sprayed entire house with Windex--but slept elsewhere and had great

nite's sleep

Wednesday (today) Sat down at computer and got bit very soon after...this is

where I had saturated the area in Windex the night before.

Today I sprayed almost all the house again with Windex --I need to wear the

respirator--I am getting sick from breathing it....

The reason I was asking if you had sprayed anything afterward was

because I think Zmooks was right about the heat hatching the eggs out

that were in your apt. So by spraying immediately after, you ARE

killing a TON of them. Just keep it up if you can! If you can afford

it, go get the respirator or order it online and start spraying the

heck out of everything every day. Ray had suggested to get the one

that the painting people use.

One thing that I found that helped us was:

Carrying a small spray bottle full of 91% Alcohol or Windex (or maybe

cedarcide?) and spray it around your area where you will be sitting

or standing. If you feel any activity... Spray, spray and spray some

more. Carry this with you wherever you go through out your apt.

If you have a car, keep a full bottle in the car with you.

Out of 6 days, you have had one horrible day and one horrible night?

The rest were tolerable? Lucy! That is AWESOME! You are whipping

these things and don't even know it!!! You go girl! Don't stop now! :)

You just keep spraying and I can almost guarantee that you'll beat

this thing soon. :)

Don't forget to get a respirator...

What is the heat thing? I sprayed with Chlorox and salt today. So far, so good. I was wondering how often and how long it took to get rid of them with this method. I was worried about spraying the carpet in my apartment but I decided that I would rather take my chances with the carpet and the landlord than live like this forever.
