Guest guest
Thank you Bessie. XO moles and collembola Hyperpigmented areas (moles, etc) are common but not universal. Also, skin tags, nevi, and lipomas; in other words, nearly any kind of skin growth (although lipomas are beneath the skin). I have a ton new "sun spots" or "age spots" or whatever you call them!Collembola (spring tails) are very often present in addition to any other mite/insect.Bessie
Guest guest
Are collembola present in the soil, by the mega millions? If it was collembola, how would you stop being invaded by them in the future.....I guess thats a million dollar question...... Bessie do you know any thing else about them? Myrtle that is so depressing that, that poor lady got reinfected by them. I guess thats another reason why once your over this it is so important to keep up on new strategies that are working for people. I definately would be getting myself some cedarside pronto if I got reinfested by what ever we had. z

Zmooks - You hit the nail on the head - it's the million dollar question! I really don't know how to answer that, except to try everything that is suggested for any biting/crawling problem, looking for what may work for you. Intuitively, I would think lots of garlic would be helpful as that is used as a natural remedy for pets with bug problems. And make sure you don't have any leaking fixtures under sinks, in toilet area, etc. I would also hit those areas with an orange oil spray preparation that is sold in health food stores. I've used all over windows, too, as it catches and kills any tiny crawling thing. None toxic and smells good, too. Bessie
Guest guest
I agree with Bessie. Also, be careful about standing water in the house, which includes toilets, drains, and any water bowls for your pets. The bugs need water to stay alive. You can spray Orange Guard (non-toxic) inside the shower and sink drains at night when you're done using them, and during the day before you go to work. You can also put covers over the drains when not in use. Spray it around the toilet, if you think the bugs can crawl up to the water. For the pets water bowls, place them on saucers or pans that have been sprayed with the Orange Guard. After using the shower, squeegee off the excess water so the bugs won't have it available. myrtle > > > > Are collembola present in the soil, by the mega millions? > > If it was collembola, how would you stop being invaded by them in the > > future.....I guess thats a million dollar question...... > > Bessie do you know any thing else about them? > > > Zmooks - > You hit the nail on the head - it's the million dollar question! Guest guest
Bessie and Myrtle Thanks for your thoughts and strategies. I've pretty much stopped all cleaning outside of normal day to day stuff. Thats probably foolish, but for sanity sake it was a really important step for me.... I do have a leak under my sink that I am going to get fixed pronto... I will take up both of your advice and purchase some of that orange cleaner too. I'm just hoping it was collembola thanks you guys z
