Hi All,

A quick status report that I thought some people might find

interesting. As with most of you, we've been fighting these things

for a while (in our case, since September, when we thought they were

fleas).

Although we STILL haven't done the Cedarcide we bought, I am pleased

to report two real advances:

1. I've gotten them out of my car (for over a month now). I credit

Windex, which is pretty much the only thing I've used in the " main "

car. I turn the engine on before using, let heater run long enough

to wake 'em up, then spray floor and seat (never had them up

above). I also spray whenever I exit the vehicle. I consider this

a great victory as they used to attack me whenever I got in.

2. Yesterday was the first day since Nov? Dec? I have not been

attacked in my office at work ALL DAY (by attacked, I mean either

crawlers or biters). I have been spraying Windex daily (arriving

and leaving on floor, chairs, desk, keyboard (and turning keyboard

over to rest on Clorox-sprayed surface - thanks Rita) for months. I

also tried pesticide maybe six weeks ago but don't think that had

anything to do it it. The only thing I've changed recently was

starting MSM internally several weeks ago, and then starting to

spray the walls too with Windex morning and when leaving. So

credit either Windex over the long term, MSM internally, Windex on

the walls, or the combination. Either way, I am HAPPY to have

experienced a peaceful day. I am sure I'll have to keep hitting

them everyday to keep them gone, but wanted to share this exciting

development. And reiterate the message from so many of you - long-

term, repeated routines with substances proven effective seem to be

the only way out of this. No quick fixes.

We still have the house to finish clearing -- it is in an

intermediate stage. Some pretty clean rooms, some not. I hope to

finally get the Cedarciding done soon, and then do it again, and

again...

Anyway, I hope you all find these small successes as inspiring as I

do reading of the success of others.

Good luck to us all!
