Guest guest
Hi , I would think that the concentration of sulphur that would be needed for spraying would turn everything yellow when sprayed. My white cat used to come home a bright yellow color after his lime sulphur dip from the vet. Poor lil' fellow! He looked awfully pitiful! :-) > > Hi everybody, > > did anyone tried lime sulfur for these mites?? > > >
Guest guest
. you can use the lime sulfur dip on yourself, just as you would for your pets. It will not harm you. I did buy a lime sulfur concentrate to be used as an environmental spray. It left a hard lime stain on everything, especially the tiled floor. I had to use muratic acid to remove the lime sulfur stains on everything. The reason I bought this was because someone mentioned that if you have bird mites, to use this in your home, and it will get rid of them. I think I bought the wrong kind for that environmental spray. The one I bought was Lime Sulfur Spray and I think you need to buy the Lime Sulfur oil. Made by Bonide. http://www.deerbusters.com/too-9233.html http://www.nextag.com/lime-sulfur/search-html Better to use epsom salt as an environment spray or bleach and water. or what frito lay has made up for her environmental spray, using a bunch of different oils, like clove, peppermint, anise, thyme and enzymes and water. You can also use hydrogen peroxide as a spray. And either kind of rubbing alcohol, isoprophyl and/or ethyl. Windex is good, too. I know another poster - Mel - uses it in her environment.....she would be a good one to respond to this question....I think it helps in her environment. z
