Hi,

we sprayed the entire house last friday. All the ones we could see are

dead!! However, I still feel itchy. But my husband thinks I'm

imagining things, since he is not feeling anything and my 3 y old is

not schracheing anymore. I realy can not say if they are gone!! I

ordered 1 more galon so we are going to do it again on tuesday. We

only could see them in bedrooms and had them for about 10 days. I have

been asking Joan for help as well...

Hi,

Dave at Cedarcide said that I should spray every 3 days for a total of 3 sprays

(fogging)

He also said the longer you keep your house closed up after fogging--the better.

Also--fog your car.

and put it on your body.

does anyone have any other helpful tips??

well, we wait in expectation, and I will pray for you

and your family as soon as I email as well. I can

only imagine feeling this in the midst of just about

to have a baby. We got birdmites 2 month after my

baby was born 9 months ago.

He did not say that to us!!! He said once would be enough if you do

it corectly!! We did fogged the car, sprayed us, left the house

spent that night in the hotel. My husband stayed at home and did

outside and inside top to bottom! We also thru away all our

mattresses ( total of 3). We are now sleeping in the basement. I'm

probably gona throw away all my close and sheets ( that we used for

this time). Now we need to buy new mattress and I'm afraid they will

be back.

LL how long do you have them in your house? How long it took you to

realize you have birdmites??

Yes, my little girl and I get bites and my husband and

2 and a half little boy do not. I felt itching for

about a week or two till I got bites. I got them

under my arms and shins the most. My daughter just

started crawling and my husband just cleaned the

carpets with a bleach mix since she keeps getting

itchy and biting. 3 days later they were back...or

they just moved to the tile and that was where she got

them from....it makes me so angry when it happens to

her! I just took pictures of her bites yesterday. I

can send them Jpeg for you if you want. do I send it

to tlucija@...?

HI,

I STILL DO NOT KNOW IF THEY ARE BIRDMITES.

A pest control guy said birdmites 2yrs ago. I moved from that house and now

they are back in a new house. Dave at cedarcide said if you can see black

specks--they are mites. He said it doesnt matter what kind of a mite--a mite is

a mite he said.

I was in denial that they were mites for the last 9 months until 2 weeks ago

when it got worse.
