Guest guest
I was getting bitten at work (one day about 70 painful innoculations around my feet--I was still wearing normal shoes rather than the boots I now wear) and no one else was, which is when a coworker said, " Could it be you? " That's when I started considering parasites. I got a lint roller and latex gloves (I prefer vinyl now) and, since this was before I had enzyme cleaner or anything else, I would go to my car and pick off the black specks and put them on the lint roller, sometimes getting painfully bitten, but I would then have to go and wash my hands WELL. That was in the early days, about 8 years ago. katiejill

Guest guest
Thank you so much for your concern, Deb. It has actually been longer than 8 years: before that I thought it was all external and I threw every chemical you can imagine at my environment, so they were all immune by the time I started treating myself. However, as bad as it is for me, it is not as bad as it seems to be for many of you. Pink oil is an amazing discovery for me, nontoxic, or relatively so, but it keeps the critters out of my ears and privates, while Vicks Vaporub deters them from mouth and nose. I use sulfur drops or eyelid cleansing drops on my eyes and eyebrows. They are gaining ground and recently I had the first major public outbreak and am out of work doing Eurax treatment. Hopefully I will be ok to return to work on Monday. So far, in all those years, I have managed to secure my environment, and the critters, through various physical means and no one else has what I have. So, not sure if that is because of the protocols I stumbled on (lint rollers, enzyme cleaner with peppermint, pink oil) thru obsessive testing of everything in sight, or if I have something different (3 parasites and counting, one of which a mite I haven't had identified but after reading these posts have written the nearest university entomology dept for help). After a couple years into the 8, I decided if I was going to survive that I had to work on my sanity as well as my physical survival, otherwise I had no will to survive, and I am sure many of you understand that. It is not something I say to others. I returned to hunting (though of course it is hard not to wiggle on stand--and I am a bow hunter, so movement and the scent of my treatments limit stand sites and force me to " play the wind " but I try to keep up with it to feel somewhat normal. After some personal experiences where I felt legally helpless, I attended law school for 8 months online and loved it, learned what I needed to get by, and left. Now I'm studying Dreamweaver. Online again of course. Brick and mortar school obviously is no longer an option, not for now anyway. Thank you so much for caring, Deb, and all of you. The level of commitment to sharing what you know and interacting with the rest of us is unparalleled in my life. Thank you, thank you. katiejill > > > > I was getting bitten at work (one day about 70 painful innoculations > > around my feet--I was still wearing normal shoes rather than the > boots > > I now wear) and no one else was, which is when a coworker > said, " Could > > it be you?
