I have heart felt aches for you and others like us. I had to put my little dogs to sleep over this. $7000.00 in vet bills and a year of working hard to get the things off them and the vet had to admit....."some times we can't get these things off an animal". When my little ones walk out my door it twisted me inside and I will never be the same person I was again. Rita

Oh, gosh - I hope not, too! Sometime I'll tell the whole story about my birds...it's been over 8 months since I had to give them all up, and I cry every time I think about it. Many were birds I'd handfed as long as 10 years ago.
