Guest guest
I'm ok, just frustrated. I'm still getting things out of my skin, ie. salt or sand-like particles and of course, black specs. I can't believe that they would make a product for little kids like this. I will definitely get something different for MacKenzie. Frito, I'm curious, are you a medical professional? You are just so knowledgeable about so many different things. Photocarcinogenic, photomutagenic, and caused photosensitivity. Also associated with increased incidences of melanoma among sunscreen users. http://en.wikipedia .org/wiki/ Oxybenzone http://en.wikipedia .org/wiki/ Benzophenone Inactive Ingredients: SD Alcohol http://en.wikipedia .org/wiki/ SD_Alcohol Note: The isoproyl and propanol alcohols are cellulose targeting alcohols. This would mean to the user of such alcohols, that over time, it is capable of defatting your skin. My naturopath was very specific that if I were to use alcohol, to use 70% ethyl alcohol if anyone is interested. Because those worms just popped out of your skin, something agitated them (possibly the salicylic and aloe components and also suffocation, the oils, especially the mineral oil and the glycerin. How are you? I am so sorry this is happening to you. Just when we seem to be feeling we may be getting somewhere, and something like this happens to us, it really is quite alarming as well as completely disheartening. Please keep at it. Guest guest
When I put my feet in hot water with dish soap, I too got alot of black specks coming out (for hours). I tried sunscreen that I had but nothing came out of me. Maybe it has different ingredients. -requireshelp > > From: fritolay66 <fritolay66@...> > Subject: Lou/Sunscreen > bird mites > Date: Saturday, July 19, 2008, 6:33 AM > > > > > > > > > Active Ingredients: > Avabenzone > http://en.wikipedia .org/wiki/ Avobenzone > homosalate > http://en.wikipedia .org/wiki/ Homosalate > Octisalate > http://en.wikipedia .org/wiki/ Octisalate > http://en.wikipedia .org/wiki/ 2-Ethylhexanol > Oxybenzone > This ingredient doesn't seem to be very good for a person. Guest guest
I have only done it once, Lou. I will definetely do it more often because, now my feet feel less crawling and tickles. Also, I feel less mites elsewhere on my body. I believe they were breeding in the skin on my feet and coming out. I think that my feet were severly infested because the floor at work is infested and my feet are warm and moist. I spent all day at the beach today and used sunscreen on my back, shoulders, and legs. Some mites came out of my skin and it felt ticklish as they came out. I think I'll need to do a whole body treatment of some sort. Maybe the chlorox will do. I haven't used that yet. -requireshelp > > > > From: fritolay66 <fritolay66@ ...> > > Subject: Lou/Sunscreen > > bird mites > > Date: Saturday, July 19, 2008, 6:33 AM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Active Ingredients: > > Avabenzone > > http://en.wikipedia .org/wiki/ Avobenzone > > homosalate > > http://en.wikipedia .org/wiki/ Homosalate > > Octisalate > > http://en.wikipedia .org/wiki/ Octisalate > > http://en.wikipedia .org/wiki/ 2-Ethylhexanol > > Oxybenzone > > This ingredient doesn't seem to be very good for a person. > Photocarcinogenic, photomutagenic, and caused photosensitivity.
