My dear mite sufferers: I haven't been able to use my computer because I can't stand the mite attacks I get when at the computer. I'm sorry I haven't responded to your kind replies to me. I wanted to give you an update.

A) I was really thinking I was going mad, I couldn't bare this ordeal any longer. People were thinking I was crazy. They couldn't believe these mites could still be around after I'd had a PCO spray a month ago. I've gotten comments from people very close to me like "Just don't think about them and they won't bother you so much" and "you need to see a psychiatrist, as I think you're making more out of this than is there", Haaaaaaa! I wish.

B) Well, so I really did start wondering if I was going insane. Maybe I've acquired some bizarre mental illness set off by the mites. Then Saturday, after rising and feeling the bugs on me I went to the bathroom mirror. I had a spray bottle of Listerine/water 50/50 right there. I felt something crawl on my cheek and I quick sprayed a tissue with Listerine and wiped my face. Not only did I catch one, but it was crawling across the tissue. It was very small black dot but was moving. I put it in alcohol and took it Monday to the Colorado State University Extension Service here in Lakewood, Colorado. The scientist there confirmed it to be a mite. So after all this torment for 1 1/2 months, at least I know the biting, the crawlinging into every orifice is real. I am not insane.....yet.

C) By the way, 1 1/2 months ago I took a live sample to the vet and under the microscope we could see the mite wiggling. Ugly little creature. If these monsters were any bigger and I could actually see their features I'd be screaming in terror. The fact that we can't see themn is small silver lining behind our hurricane.

D) The vet and PCO insist I must still have a source near or in the house. I'd already checked the outside, but opened a shade to look outside and there in front of the window is a pear tree with a bird nest buried inside the leaves. I hadn't seen it before, The tree branches are right outside my window and brush against it.

Not only did I have this nest removed today, but had the house sprayed again with Bifenthrin, inside and out, in the attic and crawl space. The PCO is also going to check the roof, chimney and gutters for bird nests,

So now I'm getting ready to fog my home with a TAT fogger bug killer that was recommended (anybody use this brand?). It was one of the many suggested by a PCO.

Please everyone pray that this will kill them. If not, I'm ready to put all I own in storage for however many years it takes for them to die. I'm ready to sell my home and move to Alaska if need be. I just cannot live in this torment. It is beyond me.

God in heaven be merciful to us all.
