advice on effects of toxins in pesticides?

Does anyone know much about toxins that are used in the pesticides we use?

How they effect our bodies?

A little about detoxification?

We bought a product in Mexico this weekend and are going to use it in our home.

We

heard it kills EVERYTHING. it has medium toxicity, and was recommended by a

friend of

ours that did pest control in Mexico. We gave us all the precautions and how to

use it.

We have had three treatments of two months worth and have only had low numbers

as the

results. But not complete freedom from the bugs. We will slop mop and spray

with

windex as well.

We will let you all know how it goes. We have no carpet in our home as of

today, and no

couch, and all our clothes are in bags and bins and very little furniture.

Any advice on toxins and its effects, will be helpful. I know one PCO told us

early on that

he could have killed these bugs easily 20 years ago, because our government was

not so

worried about " environmentally safe " products then. I guess when you have had

these

things for almost a year now, you get desperate. But we also want to be safe.
