hi everyone

 

im off on holiday soon to Florida and was wondering if any of u can advice me on

best places to got like, malls or parks and such ? any good wheelchair friendly

rides ?

Definitely, absolutely head to Epcot in Orlando if you can. Totally wheelchair

accessible, and worth it too. I live in Florida, so maybe we could meet and I

could show you around!

Florida, in most locations, is very wheelchair friendly.  In some older places,

like St. Augustine, you will have some difficulty.  There is a good book called

" Wheelchair Florida " written by two women in Florida with husbands in

wheelchairs that discusses most (if not all) major attractions, hotels,

off-the-beaten path ideas too.  My husband and I like staying in the great

wheelchair accessible cabins in the Florida State Parks.  They are incredible

for price and accessibility.  The weather is great here now.  Cooler in the

evenings but shorts/Tshirts during the day.  Have Fun!
