I have often suspected that I have Collembola

as well because mine like paper so much and because I can feel their tail or

legs sticking out when I have one in my scalp or skin.

Do you or anyone else have the website of

the woman (I think from Hawaii) that had beat these monsters and was selling

things like sun screen on her site?

I cannot seem to find it.

I think someone posted it early in the

summer when I was moving.

Thanks in advance for re-posting the link.

PS. I absolutely love the ESP New Hope

line. My skin feels great and I actually had a good night’s sleep!

The products smell wonderful, too!

tidbits/Listerine

Thanks Mitey for all your suggestion.

I have ordered Bifen IT , they say it works well for

Collembola, which I highly suspect I have , I can see them and they are way

too jumpy and airborne as well and love moisture of any sort no matter how

miniscule. Then they are into plastic, paper, food etc. my glasses , the

frame is infested and must soak my very expensive glasses in Isopropyl mostly

in a zip lock. otherwise they will go into my eyes and face etc..Why would

they like cosmetics, chemicals ? I am so puzzled.

About the Microwaving the laundry etc. , how big is

your gadget ? I can barely fit a tiny skirt in their, does not a suit of

yours fill it to the max and is that ok...

I any event, I will stick with my oven baking, got

this huge roasting pan, and bake my sheets, clothing before use, my shoes are

not much of an issue, keep in zip lock laced with borax. My clothing ,

laundry is my weak spot still, worse before baking,

Do you pre soak? submerge overnight? I find that so

cumbersome in an apartment living and no matter how covered adds to my

humidity...

Is dry cleaning killing the mites?

I will def incorporate the pre shower listerine

spraying, sound advise, as well ,thanks to Frito again for all detailed

info. Is the new orange listerine just as effective as the original?

The car dehumidifier question the other day was just

a way to point out, that some of us do not live in houses with drive ways

etc....My current windex-ing and raid-ing and parking my car in the hotest

sunniest spot whenever possible keeps them in check. Still need another major

gasing with CO2 for a onceover.

Keep us posted with your success, environmental and

internal.

Maybe I'll try the

bifitherin since carpets (particularly at work)

seem to be the biggest remaining problem.

Clothing is not a problem for us anymore -- that was one of the

first successful group of techniques we mastered.

* Each load of laundry, 1/2 cup borox, 1/2 cup ammonia (or clorox if

white)

* Microwave everything before and after wearing

* Microwave shoes, then dust inside heavily with Gold Bond powder

* Spray laundry filter with Windex between loads

I am sure some (not recently worn) clothing still has them, but we

never feel them since they get toasted before we wear.

Ray's (think it was him) opinion on the Listerine was that it

knocked them out, so to speak, rather than killed them. So after

spraying ourselves with Listerine, and doing the rest of the shower

routine, we spray the tub with Windex.

So I wouldn't count on spraying yourself with Listerine afterward to

kill them. We use Gold Bond lotion or powder afterwards to keep 'em

off during the work day. Then more after work, and then more before

bed. We are keeping Gold Bond in business.

Thanks, .

I didn’t want the sunscreen, but her

other tips that might be more collembola-specific.

Did you find the website? Can you send it?

Trlyblest thinks I have these. Maybe that’s

why some of the remedies have not worked for me, although they work for others.

I am glad that you are doing better.

Pamela,

I am so happy that you are having great results already with the ESP

line! So many others have had great results as well, so maybe this

will be the magic bullet for you in getting these things out of your

skin. Keep us posted!

Good luck and God Bless!
