Guest guest
You might try putting some betadine 10% down into each ear with a qtip. Let that dry and then lightly put some Vaseline down into each ear. This seemed to keep our ears clear of the things and the betadine made all pain go away when we were having ear aches from the things. Rita RE: seabuckthorn oil is wonderful I used iodine to successfully get rid of a lesion from the mites on the back of one ear. Nothing else would work. Also, Rita also told me the mites don’t like it. I am now trying it on the lesions on the insides of my ear and hope they will resolve similarly. They are healing so fast, and it seems to be preventing new ones from forming, and before I had a new crop of red dots, some as big as 1/4" around. That may not seem large to some of you but to me it is huge.Hmm. Sea. Iodine. Shellfish. Chitin (thx Rita), which is what sea shells are made of. Critters that don't dissolve in enzymes that dissolve protein. Chitin contains Glucosamine. Glucosamine makes many people itch when they take it to aid their joints, yet yesterday someone reported it alleviates their itching. Many people itch when they eat shellfish. The caution on Glucosamine says if you are allergic to shellfish you might also have a reaction (itching) to Glucosamine. My husband, far less affected than me, and whom the critters die off of within a couple of days after they get on him, has gout, and I was hypothesizing that POSSIBLY there was a correlation between the uric acid crystals and the critters. That could be. However, it might also (another hypothesis) be related to Glucosamine. Also, the orange (iodine-y) color of the Seabuckthorn Oil makes me wonder if the Betadine (povidone-iodine) solution in my bathroom might work as well. They stain equally, that's for sure!!! Anyone tried iodine, or Betadine?I am preparing a document for Willow's new site that will serve as a combination survey and database. I'll try to get something up tonight. The format can evolve as we see what kind of data comes in and what we need the document to do for us, but it will be a living document. Here's how we can handle multiple people working on it at once:It will either be a Word doc (most likely) set up as a form you can enter data into, or set up as a table. I'm thinking that if I set up a form then each person can complete as many forms as they like, one per product they wish to share info or recipes about, and then I can just pop them straight into the master document, which you can print on the spot and read at your leisure. This will be a fairly cumbersome project, so I doubt I will be able to make and keep it beautiful, but as long as you can find what you are looking for once the data is in there, that's the biggie. katiejill
