Guest guest
Well, you guys are wonderful here. AAAaaaaarrrrrgghh.....I can't believe I am about to spray myself with Raid. I am a totally organic, health food only, devoted aging hippie who hasn't even bought a bottle of Raid in over 30 years, if even back then! And now I am not only going to be buying it, but actually spraying it on my own body. ....help!.... So, Darling Irreplaceable Rita, do you spray it into your cupped hand and then spread it on your body? Or hold it out, close your eyes, hold your breath, grimace horribly, aim it at your own lovely self, and push the little spray button? .....omg...... Everyone, please, PLEASE! write to Dr. Phil!!! And Oprah!!! And our congressmen and medical associations. We need a file of their addresses! I first was attacked by CFIDS in 1979, and was on the Board of Directors of the first CFIDS organization, The International CFIDS Society, out of Portland, Oregon. I was a professional psychologist for 30 years, and we got tons of mail from all over the world with people attacked by this mysterious, disabling affliction which shatters lives. The second, and still very active CFIDS oragization, The CFIDS Association of America, at www.cfids.org was established by a young man so exceptional that he rose to President of the bank before 30 years of age. He fought this valiantly, but finally was so overcome he was forced to retire to the background. Both he and I, and millions of others, have led lives of chronic illness instead of rising to the crest of accomplishment as we were doing before this struck us down. The only way we got our ailment recognized and legitimized was through constant bombardment of the media, our officials and medical organizations, and everyone else we could think of, with our own, personally written accounts of the tragedies assaulting our lives. It took us a good decade before the name even began to be recognized in the general public. Today we have Dr. Phil and Oprah, and many other shows, Montel, The View, that can bring attention to this malady and bring education to the masses. Write, People! Email! Call everyone you can think of. Please, let's get this thing recognized, so that we can find better treatments than exquisite beings like Rita having to spray ourselves with Raid!!!!! Guest guest
Willow and others - You may already be familiar with this site - it was the very first contact I had with anything that gave me information/awareness of this condition as an epidemic: http://www.avianweb.com/bitingmites.html Read through all the information there. The webmaster had written to the cdc about this problem after receving over 1,000 letters from bird lovers who were afflicted. Something is very, VERY wrong with the " response " or lack of by the CDC.
