Hi, trlyblest...just wanted to say thank you for that awesome post.

I had gotten so overwhelmed that I was feeling beat down. I read

what u said and it sounded so familiar...then i took ur advice and

let my anger fuel me. I climbed up on the roof(we had a metal one

put on not long ago) and pulled off the ridge cap. I could see where

the wind blows leaves and stuff up in there so I know if the leaves

get in there the bugs do too from the 2 huge oaks by our house.

Anyways, I cleaned all that out, sprinkled boric acid in there and

cut a piece of visqueen and taped it down. I put the ridgecap back

on and screwed it down. All this and a whole lot more thanks to your

inspiring words...and to think I am terrified of heights. You got

me back on my " seek and destroy " mission. I caulked, puttied, even

took off my dryer door and took it outside and hosed it out. YOU

WOULD NOT BELIEVE THE STUFF in the nooks and crannys of my

washer & dryer. YUCK! the dishwasher too! THey just love

appliances.. Another source of the lil bastards is my central

air...I'm working on the ducts again. Thank you, chas
