Guest guest
I bought the pert plus from WalMart for about 6 dollars for the big bottle. IT ALREADY HAS MENTHOL IN IT. It works really well. PERT PLUS SIMPLY FRESH is the name of it. It's the 2 in 1 shampoo plus conditioner but I use a seperate conditioner afterwards. I also bathe with it sometimes. Just be prepared for the cooling action...it's not bad but u will notice it. Hope this helps ya. Guest guest
I may have to look into that Pert Plus you're talking about. I did want to say tho that I guess you can make anything you currently use into menthol version if you add melted menthol to the mix... > > > > I have melted menthol in hot water before and mixed it w/ isop > > alcohol/borax/epsom salt mixture for treating furniture. Guest guest
I'd be kinda leary of mixing my own menthol with stuff since I have no clue as to how much would be okay...and I found out that the menthol shampoo and bleach in the bottom of the shower makes for some very strong fumes. So, please be careful. Dont do like I did and spray the bleach in the shower with you while sudsed up with the menthol. I found out the hard way...lol. > > > > > > I have melted menthol in hot water before and mixed it w/ isop > > > alcohol/borax/epsom salt mixture for treating furniture. Guest guest
Good point. Yeah, I guess we should try to make ourselves into a science experiment at every chance we get. Thanks for the warning. -k > > > > > > > > I have melted menthol in hot water before and mixed it w/ isop > > > > alcohol/borax/epsom salt mixture for treating furniture. Guest guest
I prefer to buy menthol raw. That way I can use it in a very concentrated form for my shoes, and mix it in anything I want (shampoo, etc) - requireshelp KIHUN...shampoo with menthol I bought the pert plus from WalMart for about 6 dollars for the big bottle.
