I got this mess from purchasing an inferior product in South Africa. I was there

for three weeks to volunteer to help people and brought this back to my home.

Initially, I thought that I was allergic to something and didn't realize until a

month later that I brought some type of bug back, 2 months later I realized that

exterminators and doctors didn't know what the hell I was talking about and

never seen this, 3 months later after calling the CDC, EPA, US Embassy in SA, IL

Health Dept, Extension centers that I was in this hell ALONE....the government

that I pay way too much taxes were not here for me. I was naive to think that I

brought something back from another country that I have no idea what it was,

that surely someone HAD to help me....no such thing happened. I sank into a very

deep depression because of this. I felt let down by my country....kind of like

when soldiers go to war and come home with diseases and are homeless. WTF. We

are so rich with resources than many other countries and do not use them

effectively. I cringe every time I think about the script that the CDC operator

read when I called and when I had my friend call. We were told the same thing.

I am sure that this will be an epidemic. It will only be a matter of

time....maybe 2, 5 or 10 years but it will be. Similar to how it took the

government sooooo many years to address the bed bug issue. Now it is out of

control.

I have noticed that people scratch sometimes when they are around me, and often

wonder if they have taken this home with them. I'm cautious not to go to

anyone's car/home, trying on clothing, etc. but I can't handle thinking every

moment how not to infest people...as well as deal with this afflication every

day. That is too much for me.
