Ok... I'd like to compare notes..

For those who have had stuff come off or out of the skin,

Could you post what it looked like and how long this lasted for you.

Wow......I haven't done this in some time so I'm going to do this not only to post my ordeal but to remind myself of where and how I am today.

Feb. 2006 rash on neck, chest and left arm. My skin was red, swollen, itched beyond belief. Pin prick biting. All lymph glands swelled. Nothing but straight Clorox giving any relief.

3 months later in May my husband came down with it on his chest and neck. Red itchy rash. My skin is getting huge lumps and lesions. Notice white stuff flying off skin while drying with towel after showering.

Began using permenthrin cream from doctors along with cortisone

Oct. 24th stopped permenthrin cream

Nov. 11th "felt movement"..... started trying to boost immune system with vitamins, Echinacea, eating well

Feb 2007 using UV light in house and car to try and burn things, installed UV light in furnace to clean air as it moves through the air system...did not work...use dry ice in car....no help

Feb. 2007 using sulfur in all forms available ....even by mouth ......began to see black specks and rolling white "fiber" balls off skin. Had very sharp feeling things in skin even around the eyes. At times the feeling of tiny scalpels cutting into skin.

April 2007 began boiling cloths

Removed all furniture and carpeting

Began coating skin in Mobil one fully synthetic motor oil

May 2007 used Sevin dust, spray and concentrate all in house, in yard and on dogs and us

July 2007 spraying everything and skin with arrid extra dry deodorant

Oct 2007 removed dogs from home..... I'm bed ridden and very sick....husband with pin prick rash all over body

Dec. 2007 sold car bought new one

Jan. 13, 2008 first day to use Epsom salt in high concentration on skin along with washing with Clorox every single night.

Feb 22, 2008 6th week of salting skin and soaking of all clothing and shoes.

Feb 24th began taking 1 TBs. of salt by mouth

Mar. 4, 2008 eyes clear for 3rd day

Mar. 13 2008 60 days using Epsom and Clorox on skin

April 1 2008 39 days of salt by mouth and 79 days of Epsom on skin ...our skin is clear

July 2008 CO2ing car

Running into "hot spots" in house and outside

July 31 2008 started using raid ant and roach spray in house and on skin

Sept, 18, 2008 started using dehumidifiers in closets, basement and in car

Have not run into any hot spots recently

This is all I wrote down...there was a lot of suffering in between these times....lots of suffering. I now wish I had kept better records. As I read the calendar and looked back over the months it was as if I was reliving it all again. What I remember the most was pain....always pain. Rita

Rita,

I saw you used all types of sulpher. Did you try any in baths so it

could get into all your pores or just in oil based creams? I've been

leaning towards trying this but I just seem a little afraid to use it.

No problem Trly....one thing I forgot to add was the terrible changes in our skin. We started to have skin that felt like we had a tiny grain of sand on top of each pore. Our skin felt like a piece of living sand paper. Then it changed and started to look like crepe paper....just like crinkled up crepe paper. Then it got thick. Each..... what used to be small wrinkles were turning into very deep wrinkles and skin that looked like we had been sailing on the ocean for years. My children thought I was causing the damage to my skin with the Clorox and then the salt. My mother helped me on this one. When she was alive.....bless her heart....I told her what I was seeing when I used the Clorox and salt on my skin. She took straight Clorox and put it on her skin. She poured it on and then used qtips to rub it on. The Clorox didn't turn her skin into a thick, wrinkled red mass of dry itching painful skin. She noticed the same thing I did. When the skin is free of the mites the Clorox feels just like water....no burning or stinging. But..................oh my goodness...if the mites are in the skin ....the skin explodes.....I can't think of a better word. The cotton ball of Clorox would go over an area where those damn things were in my skin and the pain was almost unbearable. The skin would seem to swell "explode" as I would call it. I would then actually be able to see the lumps form where the damn things were down in my skin. Those are the areas where I would pay special attention to. I have use the Clorox as a "marker" since the very beginning. It took a long time for the soft supple skin to come back. The Epsom salt seemed to be the solution that helped the skin get it's soft supple feeling back. It took a long time but the skin returned to normal.....I am amazed how human skin can be turned into what looked like hamburger meat and then several months later look like nothing was ever there. I am still left wondering just how many of the 'things" were down in our skin. We thought for some time they were coming out of us....from internally....now I know that our skin was so infested and the sublayers of skin were so full of the things that it took months to get them out and then months to heal the skin. The hard part was keeping the things from getting back in to the skin while it was healing......it was and still is a living nightmare. Rita

My own hell was not exactly like yours, but so similar in so many

ways. For me, the psychological effects of this terrifying, surreal

journey through hell was the worst part of it all.

Did you ever notice anything odd in the year or two before the biting

and stinging? I noticed that my facial skin looked different -

actually better. It got thicker and it seemed like any

imperfections " filled in " . I had like " lightning bolts " in my left

eye on the left side, then I started getting floaters in my eyes.

I suspect there were other things, too, but I was so tired and run

down all the time I just ignored or overlooked a lot. I was

extremely busy with my aviary and trying to set up my new home - I

had just moved to FL alone. I also noticed an unusual amount

of " dust " which I thought was dander from my birds constantly

molting - I thought it went with the new climate. Whew.

Hi Bessie, I was going strong when this mess hit. 2 years before I had a disk fly into my spinal cord and paralyze me from my shoulders down. After surgery and therapy to learn to walk again I was so happy to be up and going. The only thing I noticed was that my skin would get very red....like I had a sunburn. My son told me I looked flushed. This red "flushing" of my skin went off and on for about 5 months and then the rash appeared. None of this makes any sense. I know what your are talking about when you say you were terrified. At the end of my second month I would lay in bed shaking. When straight Clorox won't get your skin clear then you know you have a major, serious, enormous problem and that's what I had. We have come a long way and I hope that there will be someone discover something that we can put on our skin and in our environment that will instantly kill the things and put an end to this horror......I'm hoping!!!!! I am glad to hear things are going a bit better. Thats great. Hopefully soon it will be over.

In addition to this I noticed people are documenting results and experiances. I have been having wonderful luck in getting rid of my bugs with every step I have taken and it is just a matter of time I think. So I wanted to put it all down so people don't have to go through what I am doing in intervals like i did. If any one is interested in the combo that has worked for me here it is.

I have dehumidifires in every main room and keep the temps now between 75 and 80 degrees. The bed and futon have vinal coverings. i have been leaving non washables hanging or on the floors in rooms with dehumidifires.

I spray my apt and car with Adam's Nylar spray and Ortho Home Defense (bifitherin) 1-2 times a week. Apt carpet dusted with DE.

Work gets sprayed with bifitherin 1 tima a week.

All laundry is washed in boric acid and then put immediatley into vacuum sealed bags.

I take sulfure and oragano oil internaly and eat activa 2 times daily.

Bathing includes parts of bobs regimine Ginger tea and two 10 minute baths. one in tea tree oil and borax. Light scrubing with tea tree oil body scrub or soap. Hair gets washed with tea tre oil body scrub. Let sit for 5 minutes on hair. I clean the tub with dish detergent and shower off and rinse my scrubbie in bleach.

The second bath is composed of apple cider vinigar, paprika, chile powder, and ginger. At this point rinse the tea tree oil body wash. I drain the tub and clean it again. I put the ESP soap on for five minutes and shower off again.

Then I lice comb under the bath faucet with conditioner.

Out of the shower: Dry off with a fresh towle. Blow dry hair entierly. Spray epsom salt concoction on hair and run indian hemp through hair. Spray the pledge orange furniture oil all over my body and apply ESP serum over it.

Claen up any water on the floor and put bleach down drains.

Get clean cloths out of vac bags. After getting dressed spray all personal carry along items with lemon sented raid. Hair brush included.

Animals are sheered. They get bathed every two days in Iodine and a small amount of tea tree bar soap. They are blow dried entierly. Olive oil with a small amount of tea tree is applied to skin/fur with a cotton ball.

Every ones diet includes very little sweets or processed foods. Lots of leafy greens and fruits.

I am sorry to hear that. Although i have not experianced the painful skin issue when applying clorox or any thing else, I do know what you mean about skin stating to look old. Mine has begun to get the desert look at some points too. Also all the dermititous that came with it was horrible. i never brok out in blemishes on my back untill all this.
