Hi Trlyblest,

Thanks for your input. I think the Goldstar brand must be an energy

hog! In my book it gets a " gold star " for energy consumption! Ha! I

think the dehumidifier is helping but I must still be dealing with

the internal buggers.

How are you both doing? I sure hope you are continuing to see good

progress. Has your husband's symptoms subsided? I continue to pray

for you, your family and all of us on this site...those with

Morgellons and those with bird mites, too.

Thanks again and take good care.

Hi Mel,

Thanks for your input, too. I know because the dehumidifier puts out

a lot of heat, the A/C continues to go on and off and that doesn't

help either. The nice thing for you is that you have the washer and

dryer in your home but the utility bill is affected there. I haul my

laundry to the laundry room every week but I am grateful to have a

laundry facility here on site. Lord, I have never purchased so many

rolls of quarters in my life! Ha! :)

Hi Mel,

Just sent a message but not sure if it went through. Thanks so much

for letting me know. I may trade my Goldstar in for a more energy

efficient model if this is to be ongoing. Take care.

lady dee: have you checked out Amazon.com. they have ratings on there. I read some of the ratings on the one I bought, and most everyone had good things to say about it. it is the first one listed.

Hi LD!

Do you think it might benefit you to get another dehumidifer? If this

Electric " Hog " is hard on electric... the amount that you would save

on a more effecient model might be the way to go? Ohhh... I know...

this can get really expensive... trying to find ways to get rid of

this demon!!! My heart goes out to you dear!

Thank you for asking about our situation.... Things with hubby and

myself ... lets say... are getting interesting... Hubby has continued

to pull things out of his skin since starting the ESP and Essiac

tea... I didn't really start pulling out things until yesterday...(I

don't know why it took so long...) Then all heck broke loose. All I

can say at this point is, without sounding like a lunatic, that it is

shocking. I wouldn't wish this on anyone...

But the folks on this forum give us renewed hope everyday that we can

overcome this.

Bless your heart dear! Thank you kindly for keeping us in your

prayers. You are also in ours. :)

Hugs to you!

Hi Itsjustme,

Thanks for that recommendation! WOW! Your bill went down???

Amazing! LG is a brand that was also recommended to me by one of the

local hardware stores. I will have to investigate that one more.

What size dehumidifier is it? (pints?) Thanks!
