World AIDS Day, an Observation or a Celebration?

Dear Forum Members,

As the World AIDS Day is fast approaching I request for your comments on the

issue Whether Worlds AIDS Day is Observed or Celebrated. I am well aware that

it is observed.

But, we find the members of many nationally and internationally

renowned(exceptions to institutions working for the cause of

AIDS)agencies/organisations take it an opportunity to 'celebrate' the occasion,

to get name and fame and get the news published, etc. Even they miscall the

occassion 'World AIDS Day Celibration'. Some times they even go to the extent

of giving wrong informations in public meetings.

Shouldn't we control this?
