In India we have an excellent track record of innovative and

effective work for over 30 years. We are present in 22 states,

reaching out to over 1.5 million poor and marginalised people and

work in partnership with over 300 organisations, networks and other

civil society groups on our core issues at a local level through

sustained policy advocacy work and campaigns.

The ideal candidate will: have a proven track record in leading and

managing institutions and development programmes adopt empowering

management practise to expand and deepen our partnerships, programmes

and accountability in India be actively committed to gender equity,

value-driven and a team player possess a high level of people-related

skills have the perspectives and competencies for rights-based and

policy advocacy work; fundraising and donor relations; regional and

international linkages and with a sound basis on organisational

development have courage of conviction in taking public stands

against issues of injustice against the poor experience of dealing

with governance boards

This is a senior position based in Delhi with frequent travel to the

field and fair amount of international travel. The ideal candidate

must have excellent communication skills in one or more Indian

languages and in English.
