Yogurt and yeast in digestive tract

I was sitting here eating some yogurt (organic stonyfield lowfat).

It states on the cup that there's 6 live active cultures...bare with

me...

Now, doesn't heat and cold kill 'bacteria', good and bad?

I have personal knowledge of plain yogurt douches for yeast

infections from

when I was a teenager (it's what my grandma told me to do!), and it

worked...but, am I just spinnning my wheels here wanting these good

live cultures in my digestive tract by eating them, and do they even

survive the cold of the fridge?

Don, I know you will tell me some other way to get them...I was just

going for the beneficial things to a mid day snack, and wondering if

they really work.

See, back in the fall of last year, I had that nasty mold in the ac

vents and I'd get so sick it would put me in the bed. Well, I missed

alot of work...

So, I'd go to work anyway. I didn't get any better sweatin' it out.

Before I knew it, I'd taken three rounds of..yeap, antibiotics.

I know this has upset my apple cart. There's the most horrible gas

and just sounds that my belly has never, ever made.

AFTER I eat, not before.

I just feel yuckier than I did before all that mess, but I couldnt'

breath with eucalyptus or peppermint or anything I tried (I know, I

should have come here way before now).

But, the damage is done, and yes I agreed to do it, but I am asking

now...

Is there any way to balance this unique system without a cleanse, if

the yogurt won't suffice?

This is pretty embarrassing even for me, so yall take it easy...but,

it's a bother when you are some where shopping (or worse, at a

friends house) and you have this silent, deadly pain to hit 'cha. Or,

the ones that sound like a ambulance, but do nothing but get

everyone's

attention. rotf

Ya gotta laugh!

Thanks,

Angel
