Both .. lol (yeah I know) I had bone spurs and 3 ruptured disks pressing against spinal cord.. and pinching nerves, vessels etc... They removed all 3 and spurs and put a plate in with bone cages where the disks were. The swelling on the outside is slowly going down.. Still have some numbness under the jawbone and chin on neck.. And the pain is lessening some. Just no changes in the swallow department. that is why I'm getting frustrated... seems I'm helping everything except that.
