Guest guest
, it could be because when you eat meat you eat it raw... Do cooked foods slow your bowels down or speed them up?The reason I ask is because whenever I eat cooked meat, I pass a very large amount of fresh blood, to the point where Marilyn insists that I go the the ER. I don't, of course. And I was wondering if, from what you have said below, it might not be that unique to me. Need a quick answer? Get one in minutes from people who know. Guest guest
Hi , UUnfortunately, or perhaps fortunately :-) I can't check my b.m.'s because I can't see. Literally. I don't even have light perception. It's probably a good thing, or I'd probably always have my face in the toilet. <BG> TerriLynne wrote: Now for the gross part....... Guest guest
I had retinal blastoma, cancer of the retina when I was very small, in the left eye at age 9 months, and in the right eye at 7 years. But I was lucky. I had parents who said I could do anything, and they proved their belief in me by doing such things as giving me a bike for my tenth birthday and insisting that I learn to ride it. My grandma also chipped in. She taught me to sew, first on a treddle, then on an electric sewing machine. She also taught me to cook, baking bread, scrambling eggs, etc. Anyone can do it, but people are just so dependent on their sight that the very thought is terrifying to them. It is interesting to work with people who are losing their sight. Some come through, or adapt, pretty quickly, others come through eventually, and still others never seem to adjust to the idea that they can do things without looking. If you think about typing, remember that you aren't supposed to look at your fingers? See, I have an advantage over you. I can't cheat. Guest guest
I know of nobody who has bleeding problems from eating raw meat. Cooked meat? More likely so. Consider a piece of raw meat. Think about how it looks and feels. Now picture cooked meat, see any difference? You should and the body will definitely see and feel the difference too. No matter how much you masticate cooked meat it will never approximate raw. Raw meat is so much easier to digest than cooked meat and so much easier on the mucous lining, as long as you are not eating too much of it and are not combining it with anything that will hinder its digestion. Guest guest
A friend of mine is blind also. People who come to her house ask where is your computer? She points at the desk with the CPU and keyboard. They always ask where is the monitor? And she laughs. We listened to her reader and it is FAST! It would take some practice for me to be able to interpret that reader. Gayla Always Enough Ranch Acampo, California http://bouncinghoofs.com/alwaysenough.html Bill Barnhill is our Inspiration! Guest guest
Yup, my computer has what is called a " screen reader. " It reads just about anything I want it to. However, I do have a monitor for a couple of reasons. My youngest son, who lives in the next town over, sometimes comes by to use my computer. Also, if I need something fixed, the poor computer diagnosis/repair people can't do it without a monitor. :-) TerriLynne
