Guest guest
I had many uti's and bladder infections as a teenager and young adult. I tried it the doctor's way, and then, finally found some things that helped me. Before I gave up tea(regular, that is) I would drink a lot of that if I felt one coming on. I have since moved on to drinking lots of water and fresh juices for myself. The fresh carrot juice sure makes me pee, lots. I have over the years used cranberry juice. Strong and unsweetened. One of my dogs got a lovely bladder infection(she went to a dog show, stressed, and wouldn't drink), had strong urine, with blood in it. I gave her cranberry juice for several days, and it all cleared up. I wonder if buying fresh or frozen cranberries and juicing or putting them in a smoothie would work? As to addressing the cause, yep, that sure helps. The more fresh raw I eat, the more smoothies and even fresh juice(I juice veggies mostly, " when " I do it) and of course lots of water, the less I have. And... keeping going to the bathroom and NOT holding it, makes a whale of a difference. Stress is a big factor as well. Just my two cents, <G> Shelene
