Guest guest
Rose, So sorry to hear about your Mom. My thoughts on Noni juice is that it probably wouldn’t hurt, but I don’t know about how much benefit she would get from it. The marketing for all these fruit juice drinks is amazing – if you believe any of it. I don’t think any processed fruit juice is a wise addition to your diet. It lacks enzymes, it’s “dead”. And it’s not the whole food, just an extract. You still need enzymes to digest your food, probiotics for assimilation, and whole foods. For some people with terrible diets, any amount of nutrition is better than none, and you may see some results. But you can’t just drink a fruit juice and expect miracles. Guest guest
Rose Sorry to hear about your Mom. I do use noni juice with my daughter as well as alot of other supplements including Limu, pantothenic acid, cinquifiol, as well as numerous herbs and vitimins. e has traumatic brain injury thanks to her biological mom. and is a quad takes seizures and numeros other things. All of the herbs have helped her and have been able to reduce prescription meds by over 1/2. She is more vocal and trying to move. No one product will cure everything but the combination I have come up with for e is working for her. Noni, limu, colostrum, and any other immune builder may help but no guarentee Stacey RN, NREMTPCarol Minnick <carol@...> wrote: Rose, So sorry to hear about your Mom. Guest guest
– your friend at work who drinks that Naked Juice – another problem with all these fruit juice drinks, in addition to lacking enzymes because they’re processed, is that they contain preservatives. I’m not familiar with Naked Juice, so I’m not sure about that one, but so many of the other expensive so-called health drinks have sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate. What’s healthy about those? I have an article of a study that was done that shows benzoates contribute to ADHD – so I would NEVER drink any of those fruit juice drinks. If you want a smoothie, it would be way better to buy fresh organic fruits and veggies and make your own drinks in a blender and way cheaper too. (Just a funny aside about preservatives – my father is 92 and he says he needs all the preservatives he can eat! He’s joking of course – the reason he has lived so long is because he DOES’T eat preservatives.)
