The objective of the programme is to share and disseminate the knowledge of prevention and control of HIV/AIDS as well as the use of treatments under the Siddha Indian medical system. Among the issues that will be addressed at the conference will include information on the Siddha tradition, recent data on the disease locally, issues surrounding the conservation of botanical and other medicines as well as on other treatment and prevention issues.
