She wears contacts and I sure hope that was not the culprit. I wear glasses for distance, but for me putting this into my eye was always a "no-no." I don't judge others who have found them helpful.hugs, carolg> Suzy,> Awesome. Thanks.> > Now it's time for both of us to get to bed hun. Sounds like you are > doing so much better. Guest guest
I have worn contacts since 1965 with no problems other than scratched corneas with the hard lens. Then it felt like someone sticking pins in my eyes while pouring salt in there. Had to keep my eyes shut as much as possible. Only once did it require a visit to the doc for drops. Now I wear silicon, soft lens and LOVE them! No problems whatsoever. Shari

Guest guest
Hi Angel, From my perspective, and I know that some here are going to disagree with me, but contact lenses are not a good way of going about seeing the world. I can't say they are any better than glasses which are a joke. Putting anything onto the tender and very fragile eye is not what I consider the best thing to do. No one should wear their contacts to bed or live in them. The eyes need to breathe, and yes I am aware that todays contact lenses are osmotic, however they really do not allow the eyes to breathe naturally and they also irritate the cells of the eye ever so little that you probably don't even notice it but over the course of several days you now have the beginning of inflamed tissues from the constant movement of the lenses, no matter how minuscule that movement may be. She should remove her lenses at night, as should anyone, and it wouldn't hurt her to go a day periodically without wearing them or even several. I still wear glasses, could never get into contacts even though I tried, but I don't wear prescription lenses anymore. When I went on vacation last year in Croatia I took a pair of reading glasses, very small magnification, but enough to allow me to read with. By wearing them only while reading and not wearing anything the rest of time, when we got back from vacation I noticed that I could read lots of things I couldn't read before. Now my prescription lenses were bifocals. I have not worn them in over a year now and if I go several days, not likely, with no computer my eye sight improves ever so much. Fluorescent lights, televisions and computers are extremely hard on the eyesight. Glasses and contact lenses are a trap, they don't improve eyesight they make it worse over time. This has been proved and can be verified. Just my two cents for anyone wearing contact lenses. Don shoogabritches wrote: >> Any suggestions for bloodshot " one " eye?
